Location:Medical Center - Fort WorthDepartment:PsychiatryShift:Varying Shifts (United States of America)Standard Weekly Hours:12Summary:The Program Specialist I assumes the primary caretaker role for psychiatric patients ages Pre-K through adolescents which includes activities of daily living, maintaining a safe environment, and the management of harmful behaviors. The Program Specialist I also participates in crisis intervention, teaching, group process and on call as needed.Qualifications:

• High school Diploma or Equivalent required
• Experience in inpatient or partial hospital psychiatric treatment preferred
• Pediatric experience preferred
• CPI Non-Violent Crisis Intervention - Units 1-7 & 9-10 plus the CPI Children's Control Position from Unit 8 or must be completed within 60 days of start date
• Heartsaver CPR within 60 days of start date
