Job Description:

Job Summary: Lead the fire service business in the local district office, providing vision, leadership, and direction to drive profitable growth and meet district objectives.

This position is responsible for supervising fire/sprinkler/suppression service inspectors/technicians, developing business strategies, and implementing action plans to meet the district's objectives and drive profitable growth of the Fire Service business. The supervisor will be called upon to directly perform inspections, highlighting the dynamic nature of the position.

The supervisor will be responsible for:


  • Revenue growth: Implementing plans, programs, and processes to meet and exceed corporate goals and objectives, maximizing market potential of the service business.
  • Customer satisfaction: Maintaining effective customer communications, building solid customer relationships, and resolving customer complaints.
  • Productivity improvement: Ensuring fair and effective performance measurements, motivating employees to achieve and/or exceed their assigned goals and objectives.
  • Safety compliance: Ensuring all employees comply with corporate safety programs, thorough employee safety training, and identifying safety issues and hazards.
  • Performing scheduled inspections.


    Requirements:

    • Demonstrate supervisory/leadership abilities, including training, team building, presentation, and negotiation skills.
    • Seven to ten years of documented experience in the Fire Alarm, Sprinkler, Suppression industry performing service and repair to Fire Alarm Sprinkler and Suppression systems.
    • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
    • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, to meet customer requirements.
    • Valid Fire Alarm, Sprinkler, Suppression license.
    • Knowledge of test equipment, multi-meter, digital analyzer, and commissioning devices.
    • Available for local/regional travel, which may include nights and weekends to accommodate customer's schedule.
    • Exhibit excellent customer service skills, consistently communicating with the district staff and customers to ensure customer satisfaction.
    • Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and ability to learn quickly.
    • Possess a valid driver's license and driving record that meets company requirements.
    • Able to pass a pre-employment background and drug test.
    • Retain any licenses that are required by National, State, and Local codes.


      Preferred qualifications:

      • NICET Level II certification.
